More about me

I studied Clinical Psychology at at the San Francisco de Quito University (Ecuador, 2014) in order to have the opportunity to help people discover and develop their individuality.

I continued my studies in the United States with a Master's degree in Mental Health from Johnson & Wales University (USA, 2018).
Currently, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

In addition to that, I have a diploma in Sustainability from EcoHouse, a Colombian organization.

My main therapeutic focus is transpersonal psychology, with an eclectic approach.

And before you ask, what is that?  Let me tell you. (:

Transpersonal psychology helps to see beyond being, to understand the rest through understanding oneself.  It promotes integration with ourselves, others, and the whole of life.

It allows our personality to evolve to higher levels of consciousness.

There are several therapeutic approaches within clinical psychology, based on different branches of research.

So I try to adapt my intervention techniques to the personality and problems of my patients.

Before we start, it is important that you can identify your way of relating to the world, in order that you understand yourself better and for this ask yourself:

Is it easier to identify my thoughts or my emotions?

Do I prefer to talk or listen?

Is it easy for me to imagine things?

Do I need a structure or do I just prefer to be guided?

Based on the answers to these questions, it is possible to determine what type of therapeutic approach is indicated
for you.
